Frameworks for Collective Care

Posted By Chris June 27, 2026

CTI’s Care and Healing Justice Fellowship kicked off with a week-long retreat for young activists from different movements focused on what collective care means, and how to prevent burnout. While the activities and dialogues from that week took place between a circle of trust and confidentiality, CTI has developed this document outlining approaches to collective care out of the key concepts, findings, and collective wisdom of the retreat and its activists. It outlines CTI’s approach to care, frameworks for collective care, and reflections to support readers in tapping into their own collectives’ care systems.
