What do we mean by “Dignity”?

People with lived experience deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. Dignity includes avoiding stereotyping and bias in service provision as well as avoiding tokenism, condescension, or paternalism in leadership opportunities and development. (-The Meaningful Engagement Handbook)
