What do we mean by a “Trauma-informed Organisation”?

Trauma-informed practices are often referred to for ways to engage with people who have experienced abuse, assault, exploitation, or trauma as a service provider. Organisations can also incorporate trauma-informed practices into their organisational, management, and supervisory models, to account for the fact that many individuals with different kinds of trauma (including historical, cultural, colonial, and state-enacted trauma) may work there.
