equity

By “equity” we mean diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and justice initiatives that strive to ensure that staff and potential hires have a fair shot at hiring as well as fair workplace experiences. In any region, some voices, identities, and perspectives are given more power than others to influence decisions and funding; intentionally focusing on equity in practice is how we counteract those imbalances in our work.
